Kent Iverson

Kent Iverson, 64, passed away peacefully at Sanford Hospital in Bismarck on Friday, March 21. He was buried at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck, on March 26, 2025, surrounded by friends. 

Kent was born in 1960 to Iver and Valeria (“Larry”) Iverson in Bismarck, ND. He attended Bismarck High School. Kent worked until 1991 alongside his parents at “The Tire Mart” in Bismarck. He then went to work for HA Thompson & Sons until his health started to decline in 2024. He was well-liked and treated very well by his HA Thompson family.

Kent enjoyed boating, fishing and camping with his friends. His destination of choice was either Lake Tschida or the Missouri River, where there was plenty of room to take his boat out to spend time with his friends and his dog, Grizzly. He was preceded in death by his father Iver in 1986 and his mother Valeria in 2017.
