Linda M. Metzger, 70, Bismarck, died January 29, 2018. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Friday, February 2, 2018, at Church of Corpus Christi, 1919 N 2nd St., Bismarck, with Rev. Terry Wipf officiating. Family will greet visitors starting at 6:00 pm Thursday, February 1, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, where a rosary/vigil service will begin at 7:00 pm. Cremation has taken place. Burial will be held at 1:00 pm Friday at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan. Linda was born May 24, 1947, in Mobridge, SD, the daughter of Louis Snider and Rose Thomas Snider. She graduated from Mandan High School and went to RD Hair School. She married Dennis Metzger on April 8, 1967. Linda started her own hair salon in the basement of their home called Linda’s Beauty Salon. She continued her career as a hair dresser working with some of her close friends. Linda enjoyed spending time with her family cooking great meals for them. She enjoyed getting together with family and friends playing card games and board games. Linda is survived by her husband of 50 years, Dennis; son, Troy (Paula); daughter, Dawn Grosz and her special friend, Aaron Heil; her grandchildren, Lacy Metzger, Brandon Metzger, Tyler Grosz, Cameron Grosz and Alexandria Grosz; great-grandchildren, Brayden and Dominik Metzger; brothers, Pete Snider and Leo Snider; sister, Rose Skaaden; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Mike, Jack, Joe, William, Kenneth Snider; and her sister, Dorothy Richholt.
