Linette Lippert of Bismarck Left to be with her Savior Jesus Thursday May 30, 2024. She was 50 Years old.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30AM, Thursday, June 6, at Evangel, 3225 N 14th St, Bismarck.
Public visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Evangel.
Linette was Born August 17, 1973 to Val and Vernice Schmidt Frank, Vernice now deceased. Her dad Val, remarried to Margie Wald who became Linette’s second mother. Margie Frank loved Linette as her own daughter.
Linette grew up in Bismarck and graduated from Bismarck High School. It was there, still in high school, that she met Chris Lippert, the love of her life and soulmate. Through Chris sharing his faith and love with her, Linette found faith in Jesus Christ.
For awhile they encouraged each other and started growing in Christ. Then Chris had a type of falling away from his faith and fell back into a destructive lifestyle of drugs and alcohol abuse. He began traveling on the road with a rock band and Linette kinda just went dormant in her walk with Jesus. After two years of this lifestyle, Chris almost died of a drug overdose. But God had mercy. He quickly left the road and came back to Bismarck. Linette started asking Chris when they were going to go back to church. Finally they made a decision to go. God had used Chris to help Linette find Jesus some years back, and now used Linette to help Chris find Jesus again.
Linette and Chris were reignited in their faith in Jesus again on an Easter Sunday church service in 1993. From that day forward they were forever changed and committed to following Jesus forever. They were married soon after on March 10, 1994. Linette and Chris were married for 30 years.
To meet Linette is to meet love, hope and kindness that Jesus has. Anyone she came in contact with would say she made a positive impact in some way in their life. She truly reflected her Savior and Lord Jesus in everything she did. Chris says, “She is more like Jesus than anyone I have ever met.” She loved and raised her kids in that same passion for Christ along with her husband Chris. They volunteered in various ministry opportunities over the 30 years that they were married, youth ministry, kids ministry, music ministry and evangelism. Their passion was sharing Jesus and His love and forgiveness with people. Because they had been so forgiven. “To be forgiven much is to love much.”
Linette lived in the moment: she took the time to SEE you, she was a good listener, compassionate, encouraging, beautiful and faithful; a true example to the world around her.
Linette loved adventure and was full of life. She and Chris were always doing something whether it be, camping, canoeing, hiking, rock climbing, biking or simply going on long walks. They loved scooters and loved to ride around for hours. They recently had opened a scooter shop business in Bismarck, Vivié Scooters, to share and encourage others to enjoy life to the fullest. Linette truly did. She loved to travel. Trips to the Black Hills climbing were a family favorite. Chris and Linette recently celebrated their 30 year anniversary and took a two week trip to Italy.
Tragically, Linette had a two year up and down fight with breast cancer. She finally was hospitalized a month ago and didn’t recover.
Linette will be severely missed. It does not seem right to anyone. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will live on in others forever. We will see you again soon Linette, on the other side.
Linette leaves behind husband, Chris Lippert and their three children, Ivy (Ryan) Motl, Joshua (Dana) Lippert and Rebekah (Riley) Duram; her five grandchildren, Payton Motl, Kolby Motl, Finn Motl, Nova Duram and Cru Duram. She also leaves behind her parents Val and Marge, her four siblings, Vicki, Robert, Richard and Jessica along with other various aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family.
