Lisa Allee Conner

Lisa Allee Conner, aged 65, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 15, 2023. 

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM, Monday, February 20, 2023 at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck.

Lisa was born to David and Margaret Allee on June 12, 1957 in Dallas, Texas where she spent her early years before moving to North Dakota in 1992.  She was happily married to her beloved husband, Curt, and a devoted Momma to her fur babies, Spicey (deceased) and Macie Lee.

Right out of high school, Lisa put her sharp math skills to work in bookkeeping before joining her husband in the trucking industry.  She drove for several years before discovering her true passion in life was caring for others.  Lisa was a devoted caretaker at Enable Inc. specializing in intellectual disabilities.  With her gift of compassion, Lisa spread love and care for those around her, which brought her true joy in life.

She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Curt Conner as well as her stepchildren James, Lisa and Michael (Miranda) Conner; six step grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; sister, Beth (Todd) Nelson; sister-in-law, Shirly (Calvin) Wallin; brother-in-law, Jerome (Chery) Conner; sister-in-law, Glenda Conner; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Allee, mother-in-law, Bertha Conner, brothers-in-law, Veril Dale Conner and Fred Conner, sister-in-law, Kathy (Clem) Thomas.

Lisa will forever be remembered as a loving soul who touched many lives.  Whether it was grooving to a good song or reminiscing over a cup of coffee, she was full of joy and light.  Those who knew her, loved her.  She will truly be missed.
