Loretta Link

Loretta B. Link, 81, passed away October 28, 2019, at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center.

Funeral services will take place at 10:30 am on Monday, November 4, at Faith Lutheran Church, 1402 E Ave C, Bismarck.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 3, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm, with a prayer service to begin at 5:00 pm, at Eastgate Funeral Home, 2302 E Divide Ave, Bismarck. 

Loretta was born January 15, 1938, to Oscar and Emma Wiedrich, in the Beulah/Mercer County area.  She married Duane Link in 1958, raising four sons and one daughter. 

Returning to North Dakota after Duane’s Navy discharge, Loretta was employed at the pharmacy and as a receptionist with Mid Dakota Clinic. After retiring, she worked with Dr. Michelle Leidenix, Optometrist.  Loretta was always involved with her children, teaching Sunday School, Bible School and becoming a Cub Scout Den Leader with Troop 123.

Loretta is survived by four sons and one daughter;  Ricky (Kris), Mike (Laurie), Terry, Dan (Deedra), and Wendy, all of Bismarck. Grandchildren;  Nathan (Laura) Leben, Justin, Jason, Jennifer (John) Hopkins, Mike (Jess), Austin (Tristan), Kaitlyn (Taylor) Granger , Courtney, Spencer, Mason, Libby (Jaden) Friedt, Abigale Fontenot,  Samantha (Adam) Nies , and Macy Geck (Cole Rueb) ; Andy Tosseth, Channing Mann, and  Justice Thompson, who she also considered as part of the family. Great-Grandchildren:  Johnny Ray, Jemma, Madison, Maddox, Jethro, Milo, Mac, and Moe.  Two brothers, Albert (Barb) Wiedrich, and James Wiedrich; two sisters, Luella Grosz and Kathy Hirchert;  many nieces, nephews, extended family and special friends.  

Loretta was preceded in death by her husband Duane, parents Oscar and Emma Wiedrich, sister-in-law, Hope Wiedrich, and nephew Stacy Grosz.
