Louie Schlosser, 100, Bismarck, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 in Sanford Health, Bismarck. A private Mass of Christian burial will be held at the Catholic Church of Ascension, Bismarck.
Louie Schlosser was born on February 24, 1920 in St. Michaels Parish, ND, to Peter and Eva Schlosser. He went to be with the Lord on June 9th, 2020 at Sanford Health in Bismarck, North Dakota. He was 100 years old.
Louie was a member of the Eagles Club and worked at Jim’s Ready Mix for 20 years.
Louie married his wife, Janice Smith, on January 5, 1963 at St. Mary’s Church in Bismarck, ND. Together they had five children.
He had many hobbies. He loved playing his harmonica and drums and listening to polka music. He was a Minnesota Twins fan and enjoyed watching their games. Louie had three dogs, Sparky, Roxy and Bob that he enjoyed spending time with. He also loved his great-grandson, John, and loved spending time with him.
He was preceded in death by his daughters, Shelly, Mary and Elizabeth; parents, Peter & Eva Schlosser; seven sisters, Anna, Maggie, Barbara, Agatha, Margaret, Dorothy, and Regina; five brothers, Frank, Mike, Tony, Wendlin, and Sebastian.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Janice; two sons, Jack and Dan; two granddaughters, Elizabeth (Tristen) Schlosser & Mariah (John) Schlosser-Ratliff; one great grandson, John Anthony IV; brother, Wendlin; sister, Dorothy; and many nieces and nephews.
