Louise Fricke

April 30, 1925 — October 31, 2020

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Louise V. Fricke on Oct. 31, 2020 at Missouri Slope, Bismarck. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5 at Parkway Funeral Service, Bismarck.

Burial will be held at Baldwin Cemetery.

Louise was born April 30, 1925 to Minnie (Spitzer) and Karl Englemann in Baldwin. She married Lee S. Fricke on Sept. 6, 1940 and they celebrated their 70th anniversary before he passed away. 

Louise thoroughly enjoyed cooking, baking and especially playing the piano, singing and entertaining. 

She is survived by daughters, Judy Hoge, Boise, Ida., and Kathy (Al) Jahner, Santa Fe, N.M.; son, Randy (Cindy) Fricke, Baldwin. Louise leaves behind many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Louise was preceded in death by her sons, Jerome “Jerry” Fricke and Darrel Fricke; her parents; sisters, Lourene (Lowell) Christiansen, Florence (Richard) Fricke and Martha (William) Lien; and brother, Harry Englemann.
