Louise Elsie (Golde) Heid, 91, Bismarck, passed away November 30, 2018, at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center, where she resided the past several years. Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, December 8, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, with Rev. Thomas R. Marcis, Jr., officiating
Burial is at Fairview Cemetery, Bismarck.
Visitation is one hour prior to the service at Parkway Funeral Service.
Louise was born January 27, 1927, in rural Morton County, ND, to Frank and Josephine Golde. Louise was the youngest of seven siblings raised on the Golde homestead. She married George A. Heid in 1947, raised four sons, residing in rural Almont, Youngtown, and New Salem areas before moving to Alexandria, MN, where George was employed at the Rambler Dealership. The family moved to Bismarck in 1960 and soon after, Louise started a forty-plus-year career at the Bismarck Hospital, which became MedCenter One, and today is Sanford Health. Louise truly loved working at the hospital caring for all. She was well-liked by all who knew her. She made many lifelong wonderful friends at the hospital. Louise was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and participated in several church organizations for as long as she was able.
Louise is survived by her four sons, Kelly and wife Debbie, Les and wife Peggy, Randy, and Steve and wife Dorle; her sister-in-law, Hilda Schulz; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and family members.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband, George; her parents, Frank and Josephine Golde; four brothers, Art Golde, Arnold Golde, Lloyd Golde and wife Leona, and Clarence Golde; two sisters, Leola Kunz and husband Max, and Lavern Reuther and husband Ervin.
