Luke David Selensky entered this world on October 9, 1999, to proud parents David and Suzanne (Johnson) Selensky. He left us too soon and entered into eternity on August 28, 2017. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 Noon Friday, September 1, at Church of St. Mary, 806 E. Broadway Ave., Bismarck, with the Most Reverend David D. Kagan, Bishop of Bismarck, celebrating the mass, and Rev. Msgr. Gene Lindemann concelebrating.Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm Thursday, August 31, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, where a vigil service will begin at 7:00 pm.Burial will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Bismarck.Throughout his life, Luke loved the outdoors and hunting and became an avid outdoorsman. He was an excellent marksman and accompanied his dad on many hunting excursions. He loved fishing with good friends and family. He also enjoyed four wheeling and dirt biking.The adoring love that Luke and his mom shared was showed often by random acts of love when Luke would personally deliver flowers to her at work or home.When he started high school, he found a new love, football. He was a member of the Legacy Sabers football team standing strong alongside his football brothers.Luke will be missed dearly but never forgotten by his father, David (Jamie Anderson); mother, Suzanne (Russell Kunz;) and little sister Brooke who Luke adored and will always watch over; Danielle and Nicole, and her son, Micah, (daughters of Russ); paternal grandparents, James and Bernice Selensky; maternal grandparents, Larry Johnson and Alice Johnson (Jim Nelson); numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, friends; and his favorite pets, Baxter, Sophie and Huey.
