Her love of nature was evident in her beautiful flower gardens and was admired by family and friends. She was a lady of grace and dignity, always kind and loving to everyone. Her daughter Sandee moved to Steele from California and was honored to be her companion/caregiver for the past ten years. When hardships occurred in Lydia’s life the love of family and her faith helped her prevail. Lydia is survived by her daughter, Sandee Schmidt; and three nephews and six nieces.
