Lyle Ennen, 80, Menoken, died September 27, 2017, at Sanford Health, Bismarck. Services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 30, at Glencoe Sloan Memorial Church with Rev. Deanna Reikow officiating. Burial will be at the Menoken Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm Saturday at the church. Lyle was born September 4, 1937, the son of Meryl and Helen (Baker) Ennen. He grew up south of Menoken and attended Boyd School. He farmed with his father and later his sons, until he retired at age 62. Lyle married Elizabeth Craven on November 13, 1957. He enjoyed horses, hunting, farming, and chopping corn. One of Lyle’s greatest passions was buying saddles and reconditioning them to sell. He especially loved attending rodeos and his favorite was the Wing rodeo. Lyle is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; his daughter, Lyla and her children, Kayla (Abram) Zart, Destiny (Quentin) Kinzley, Tia and Talon; his son, Terry (Lynnette); son, Bryan (Laura), and their children, Krystal (Michael) Peterson, Amber and Samuel; his daughter, Treva (William) Beard, and their children, Jakeb and Chase; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Wesley (Avalyn), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Larry; and his parents.
