Magdalene E. Feser , 66, passed away unexpectedly on December 22, 2019.
Maggie was born May 6, 1953 in Dickinson, ND to Bernard and Johanna (Dassinger) Krenzel. Maggie attended grade school in various locations in western ND. She obtained her GED in Bismarckin 1971. After receiving her GED,she went on to get her hairdresser’s license in 1973. Maggie worked as a beautician and a caretaker for Ray and Edna Markel until Edna’s passing in 1976. On May 21, 1976 Maggie married Tom Feser and to that union they had 4 children; Brian, Melissa, Katherine, and Christina. In 2011 they parted ways but remained amicable and shared a love for their children.
When Maggie’s children were younger, she worked for Tupperware but found a calling when she started doing in home health care. However, Maggie’s biggest passion was teaching Sunday School to preschoolers and she taught them for over 30 years. She began teaching in Mandan at Baptist Temple in the 80’s and continued teaching at Riverwood all the way up to 2013. Maggie took great care in preparing her lessons every week because she had a genuine love and care for all of the children that went through her class.
Maggie had a great love for Jesus and was very passionate about sharing that love to anyone she had the opportunity to. She had an unwavering faith that got her through many trials and tribulations through the years. Over the last years of her life Maggie was afflicted with Rheumatoid arthritis which made daily activities difficult, but she always remained steadfast in her love for and faith in Jesus.
Maggie was proceeded in death by her parents and brother Christian Krenzel. She is survived by her sisters; TrudyFawcett (Del) Greely, CO; Johanna Catterson, Grafton ND;Bernadine Frey, Bismarck, ND; brother, Peter Krenzel, Hebron, ND; 4 children, Brian Feser (Michaela) Robbinsdale, MN; Melissa Stein (Kacey) Bismarck, ND; Kathy Stein (Kyle)Boulder, MT; and Christina Feser (Bismarck); 8 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Maggie will be held on Saturday December 28 at 10:00 and is to be held at Riverwood Church, Bismarck, ND. Riverwood is located at 3030 S. Washington Street in Bismarck, ND
