Margaret “Marge” Brady, 80, Bismarck, left this world to be with Our Lord October 17, 2018, at CHI St. Alexius Health, Bismarck. Cremation has taken place. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Monday, October 22, at Church of Corpus Christi, 1919 N 2nd St., Bismarck, with Rev. Paul Becker officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Sunday, October 21, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, where a rosary/vigil service will begin at 6:00 pm. Burial is at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bismarck. Marge was born on November 22, 1937, in Carrington, ND, to James Thomas and Ethel Bell Carmody. She met her future husband, Gregory Brady, on a blind date. They were married on November 26, 1956, at The Sacred Heart Church in Carrington, ND. They lived in Bismarck, most of their married life. To this union they had four children: Tim, Todd, Terese, and Colleen. Marge worked for Montgomery Wards for 20 years, and was working at Alliance Real Estate at the time of her death. She enjoyed helping people find the home of their dreams and did so for 26 years. She was an active member of the ND Board of Realtors. After becoming semi-retired, Marge and Greg spent a few winters in Texas and Arizona, then deciding to stay home, to spend more time with their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marge enjoyed traveling, whether on a planned vacation or a quick trip to watch her grandchildren play football, swim, dance, or a musical concert. She was proud of all of them and their accomplishments. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and of course the cocker spaniels they had over the years. Marge will be deeply missed by her loving family, and is survived by her husband, Greg; her sons, Tim (Sue), Todd (Nancy), both of Bismarck, her daughters, Terese (Greg) Birnbaum, Bismarck, Colleen (Scott), Santwire, Detroit Lakes; grandchildren, Sara, Amanda (Eric), Jodi, Kari, Leah (Eric), Nick (Hannah), Victoria, Ethan, Christopher, Elizabeth, Apollo, Hannah; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Nora, Kieran, Claire, Emily, Howard, and Ivy; her sister, Debbie Day; brothers, Bob (Mary) Carmody, Larry Carmody, Roger (Susan) Carmody; sister/brother-in-law’s Annette (Dennis) Johnson, Mary Brady, Art Buchl; as well many special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Mary (Duane) Hennessey; brothers, Stan, Dick, Frank, Tom, Mike; and her parents.
