Marjorie Prussing

December 15, 1930 — September 24, 2020

On September 24th, 2020, after 89 years, Marjorie Prussing, decided it was time to leave her temporary home on earth and move to her permanent home in heaven.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, September 28, 2020 at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 East Divide Avenue, Bismarck, with Rev. Nadine Lehr officiating. Visitation will be held one-hour prior. Burial will be at a later date, in Concordia, Missouri.

She was greeted by her husband Richard, her sons Robert and Timothy, her brother John and mother Margaret along with her other relatives and friends. According to the angels, it is quite an ongoing celebration. Marjorie said she will be patiently waiting for the time when she will be reunited with her sons, Paul, Andrew and Daniel. Though, happy to be in heaven, Marjorie admitted she would miss her grandchildren, Ric, Jon (Jaylia), Kara (Jerzi) and

Haley (Logan}. From time to time Marjorie promised she will look in on her great grandchildren, Aria and Auggy, to watch what amazing persons they will be come.

Marjorie's life accomplishments are far too many to list here. Though, most of them were voluntary. From handling the music part of the services in the various Lutheran churches she was associated with, to being on the board of directors to the Missouri Slope Lutheran Home. Her favorite accomplishment was raising her 5 kids, her 4 boys and husband. She happily took on the assignment. Though, sometimes the wooden spoon would come out and she would catch the slowest kid. In the end she caught them all, if you know my meaning.

In later life Marjorie loved her time with her granddaughters Kara and Haley, the daughters she never had. As members of the Prussing family get together, stories will be told and smiles and laughter will be abundant about our matriarch, Marjorie. Her memory will live on.
