Mary Ann Feist

Mary Ann Feist (Schmidt), 70, Wishek, passed away Saturday, May 12, at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center, Bismarck, after a short battle with cancer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Friday, May 18, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Wishek, with Rev. Wenceslaus Katanga officiating. Burial will be at the Wishek Cemetery. There will be no visitation, cremation has taken place. Mary Ann was born on July 25, 1947, in Napoleon, the daughter of John and Isabelle (Bitz) Schmidt. She married Frank Feist on November 18, 1963. Mary Ann is survived by two daughters, Lorraine (Ed) Sehn, Minot, and Linda (Roland) Sabot, Bismarck; two sisters, Gloria (Jim) McKinley, Wishek, and Carol Rost, Drayton, ND; and her brother, John Allen Schmidt, Buffalo Grove, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; her father, John; her mother, Isabelle; and many uncles, aunts, sister and brothers-in-law.
