Mary Ella Vetter, 87, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at CHI St. Alexius.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 20th at Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, 520 Raymond St., Bismarck.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, with a rosary/vigil service starting at 7:00 PM, Friday, May 19 at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2303 E. Divide Ave, Bismarck.
Mary Ella Vetter was born December 10, 1935 in Linton to Conrad and Agatha (Nagel) Vetter. She was raised and educated in Linton and later moved to Bismarck. Over the years her career included many years at Holiday Inn, Woolworth and CHI St. Alexius. She retired in December 2001.
She enjoyed bowling, cooking, baking and playing cards, especially pinochle. She was a wonderful cook and spoiled her family with many meals and baked goods.
Mary is survived by her son, Kevin (Jeanne) Vetter; grandsons, Steve (Jamie) Vetter, Andy (Hailey) Stein, David (Callie) Stein; nine great-grandchildren, Jaxson, Ryer, Eli, Cameron, Henry, Oliver, Sloane, Quinn and Crosby; one brother, Elias Vetter; brother-in-law, Valentine Vetter; sister-in-law, Otilia Vetter
She was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters, Eva, Tillie, Regina, Johanna and Isabelle and three brothers, Matt, Joseph and Sebald.
