It is with great sadness that the family of Mary (Ferderer) Stenger, 50, Bismarck/Dallas, announces her passing on September 12, 2018. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, September 24, at McCabe United Methodist Church, 1030 N 6th St., Bismarck, with Rev. Mark Erhmantraut officiating. Family will greet guest from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Sunday, September 23, at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E. Divide Ave., Bismarck. Mary was born on February 9, 1968, daughter of Delano and Margie (Zander) Ferderer, the eldest of three of siblings. Mary graduated from Mandan High School in 1986. She received her associate’s degree in business management in 1988 and moved to Dallas, Texas in 1990. In 1992, Mary married Ed Stenger. They were married for 16 years, during which time they owned and operated several successful furniture stores in the Dallas area. Mary then spent many years working in sales and events in the hotel industry. Mary enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and loved the Dallas Stars. She had a great sense of humor – even though she was usually the one laughing hardest at her own jokes. Mary has a beautiful soul – full of grace. She had a heart of gold and made everyone around her feel special. She loved her friends and family deeply. She was very outgoing and brought life and fun wherever she went. Mary was loved by many and touched the hearts and lives of everyone she knew. Mary is survived by her mother, Margie Ferderer, Bismarck, ND; brother Kurt Ferderer and wife Sarah, Chanhassen, MN; sister Tina Mitchell and husband Derrick, Bismarck, ND; former husband/forever friend Ed Stenger, Dallas, TX; nephews Luke Ferderer, Chanhassen, MN, and Jack Mitchell, Bismarck, ND; niece Claire Ferderer, Chanhassen, MN; and many beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Delano Ferderer, grandparents Nick and Rose (Emeneth) Ferderer, and Dominick and Eva (Stein) Zander.
