Michael (Micah) Burchinal,65, of Bismarck passed away on Monday, April 9th, 2018. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 17th at 11 AM, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, with Rev. Lester Wolfgram officiating. Immediately following will be a lunch fellowship followed by burial service at Fairview Cemetery, Veterans area. Michael was born to Carrol and Darlene Burchinal January 14th, 1953 in Staten Island, NY. After completing his service in the US Army Michael(Micah) returned to North Dakota, where he went to work as a Chef in both Bismarck and Dickinson. Art was a strong passion and for Michael who worked with several different media types including airbrush and pencil work. Michael was known for working with local artist Rob Barr on leather plaques commissioned to commemorate the North Dakota Centennial celebration. Michael (Micah) is survived by his father Carrol Burchinal; sons Uriah and Josh; brother, Brad and Pam Burchinal; and sisters, Lisa (Burchinal) and Hilary Wald and Letoya Whitelightning; grandchildren, Taylor, Caleb, Jacob, Mikayla and Makenna; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. Michael(Micah) was preceded in death by mother Darlene (Baird) Burchinal and son Ezra Burchinal.
