Monica Yundt

On behalf of the family, they would like to thank everyone for all the ways they've shown love and support during this difficult time. It is impossible to reach out to everyone, but Monica's family wants everyone to know how much their expressions of sympathy mean to the family. 

Monica Yundt, age 56, Mandan, passed away May 7, 2024.

A memorial service will be held 10:30 AM, Monday, May 13^th at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck.

Monica was born on November 6, 1967, to Delmer and Elaine (Neuman) Uhlich in Redfield, SD. 

Monica graduated from Bismarck High School. After high school, Monica received her associate’s degree in arts from Bismarck State College. She then attended the University of Minnesota Duluth and later completed her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice at Minot State University. 

Monica worked in the health care system as an aide at Sanford. She was also a paraprofessional for the school systems. Monica enjoyed her various careers and was very passionate about what she did. 

Monica became a mother to her two daughters, first, Brianna in 1994 and then, Bailey in 2004. Monica loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart.

Monica was a very outgoing person. She loved to be social, go dancing, and attend rodeos! She also enjoyed spending time with her pets and was an avid reader.

Monica is survived by her partner, Shawn Iverson; daughters, Brianna (Chaz) Lindstrom and their children, Rylan and Oaklyn, Bailey Yundt and her daughter, Annaleah; parents, Delmer and Elaine Uhlich; and sister, Theresa (Scott) Yeager. 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Olga Degner, and Julius and Christina Neuman.
