She spent her childhood days in Bluegrass, ND, until the spring of 1949 when her family moved to the 4 Square Ranch in Mandan, ND. In 1953, her family moved to Huff, ND, and lived there until 1957, when her parents decided to move to a farm north of Tappen. Nadine attended and graduated from Tappen High School in 1961. During her time in Tappen, she met and married Marvin Remmick on October 20, 1961. After they were married, they moved to the family farm northeast of Robinson. It was here that the couple began their life and started a family. Nadine enjoyed life on the farm. She was a hard-working woman who did everything from raising kids, milking cows, field work, feeding calves, gardening, canning, house work, and always made sure everyone had something to eat. There wasn’t a job on the farm she couldn’t do or help with. Nadine enjoyed time spent with family and friends, cooking, baking, sewing, playing bingo and cards, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and going to the lake in the summer. She always made multiple trips each year out to her daughter’s house in Minnesota. She also had a sincere love for her bottle calves and her cats. She was a woman who will be missed by many. Nadine is survived by her husband, Marvin Remmick, Robinson; her daughters, Charlene Remmick, Bismarck, Wanda Rohrich, Bismarck, Cherrie Remmick, Fingal, ND, and Gail (Dean) Britton, Baxter, MN; son, Darwin (Lori) Remmick, Jamestown; a grandson she raised who remained on the farm, David (Laura) Remmick, Robinson; brothers, Duane (Delila) Bauer, and Kermit (Fern) Bauer; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister; her father-in-law and mother-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and one sister-in-law. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Robinson Town Fund, in Robinson, ND.
