Nanna Schlafman

Nanna A. Grantham Schlafman, 91, Bismarck, passed away November 2, 2022, at her home.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

Nanna was born Oct. 26, 1931. She married Arnold Schlafman on Aug. 20, 1947. She lost the love of her life when Arnold passed away Dec. 20, 2007.

Nanna is survived by her children, Wanda (Randy) Sue Bergan, ND, Valorie (Brad) Jane Hunter, WA, and Scott A. Schlafman, ME; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; two daughters of the heart, Sonne Bradstreet Carlsen, and Mary Kay Prosch; and numerous nieces and nephews who will deeply miss her.

Nanna is preceded in death by a baby girl, Carol Jean, 3/29/1950; her son, Daryl “Butch” Schlafman, 1/6/2006; and her husband, Arnold Schlafman, 12/20/2007.
