Norman Sheets

Norman Sheets passed away October 29, 2019 at age 81. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 2, 1:00 PM, at the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witneeses, 2620 Old Red Trail, Mandan.

Norman was born to Omer and Thora Sheets of Bowman, ND on August 11, 1938. Norman had a love for music since he was young and often sang
for weddings and events, he even recorded a record June1953 in Billings Montana. He was a whiz on the organ and had a love for the clarinet and 
saxophone in paticular but many other instruments as well.  He often played the organ to the girls when they were little.

Norman married his first Love Linda Kosmicki December 13, 1960 in Bowman, ND. They went on to have 4 children; Nadine, Lisa, Kay and Tim, and 7 grandkids; Derek, Brandon, Michael, Marissa, Skyler, Jasmine and Terran.

Norman worked in the grocery business for 28 years before he became a Band Instrument Repair Technician, which seemed to be his calling, as he loved music and instruments and had an excellent ear for it.

He was Baptised as one of Jehovah's Witness in 1995. He enjoyed helping others learn what the Bible says about God's Kingdom and the hope for the future.

In 2013 Norman finally made a trip to Norway (where his mother was from) with Linda and Nadine. He was fortunate enough to meet and spend time with his mother's family. He really enjoyed seeing the area and sights where his Mother grew up and riding aboard the Skibladner like Thora often did.

Following the funeral service, the family invites you to the Baymont, 2611 Old Red Trail, Mandan, for refreshments and fellowship.
