Orpha Jean Neustel, 93, Beulah, ND, formerly of Robinson, ND, passed away on September 13, 2018. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday September 18, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will be at Bethany Lutheran Cemetery in Robinson, ND. Orpha was born on April 26, 1925 to William Henry Waters and Elsie Elora (Wayne) Waters, in Robinson, ND. She graduated from Robinson High School. On January 14, 1944, she married Kenneth (Bud) Neustel, in Jamestown, ND. Kenneth passed away on December 5, 1999. Orpha then moved to Beulah to be near family. While living in Robinson, Orpha belonged to the United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Homemakers Club, Royal Neighbors of America, and others. She was a church pianist for a few years. Orpha was an employee of the Security State Bank for nearly 30 years, and was a member of the National Association of Bank Women. She continued to be in a Homemakers club, also a birthday club in Beulah and became a member of Peace United Methodist Church, Beulah. Orpha loved to travel. She loved family and spent considerable time with grandchildren. She is survived by two daughters, Sharon (Gary) Guthmiller, Beulah, Carla Schaible, Watford City; one son, Larry (Cheryl) Neustel, Sioux Falls, SD; nine grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; one great-great-great grandchild; one sister, Elora (Joe) Kaufman, Florida; one sister-in-law, Joy Neustel, Jamestown, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her brother, Gerald; sisters, Mina Whittenberg, Bertie Leigh Compaan, and baby sister Lettie; and son-in-law, Blaine Schaible.
