Visitation will be held on Sunday August 20, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm, with a vigil service beginning at 4:00 pm at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, ND. The family would like to invite friends and family to wear their Paige’s Peeps team/GABR t-shirts to the visitation or funeral. Paige Lee Vearrier was born on April 25, 2002 in Sioux Falls, SD, the daughter of Tracy and Mary (Mathern) Vearrier. The family made their home in Bismarck, where she attended BECEP, Centennial Elementary and Horizon Middle School. Despite her limitations she was still able to participate in Home Run Hero’s, Hope’s Day Adaptive Skiing, Girl Scouts, Dreams in Motion Adaptive Dancing, and Horizon Buddies. A highlight in her life was when the ND Make-A-Wish foundation made a generous gift to send her to Florida where she was able to swim with the dolphins. Although she wasn’t able to walk or talk she touched countless lives and was always a great listener. Paige is survived by her parents; three siblings, Tyler, Ava, and Lily; grandparents, Joe and Elaine Mathern, all of Bismarck, Carol Vilhauer, Mitchell S.D., Dennis and Linda Vearrier, Martinsburg, West Virginia; numerous aunts, Uncles, cousins, and Respite Care Providers. Paige was preceded in death by Step Grandfather, David Vilhauer, Great Grandma Thelma Erpenbach, and Cousin Joey Morrison. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Great American Bike Race, or North Dakota Make-A-Wish Foundation.
