Parrish Lusby

Parrish Lusby, 48, Mandan, died January 15, 2019.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, January 21, at Victory Lutheran Brethren Church, 510 9^th Ave SW, Jamestown, ND.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon – 1:00 pm Sunday, January 20, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, where a prayer service will begin at 1:00 pm.

Parrish Wade Lusby, 48, of Mandan, ND was called home to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, January 15, 2019 in his home surrounded by his loving wife and family after a brave seven year battle with cancer.

Parrish Wade Lusby was born on July 5, 1970 in Knoxville, Tennessee to Daniel and Bernice (Stoppleworth) Lusby.  He graduated from Jamestown High School in 1988.  Parrish enlisted in the United States Navy in 1988 and was honorably discharged from Active Duty in 1991 and remained in the Reserves until 1996.  His first son was born in 1997.  He attended North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, ND and graduated in 2001 with an Associate in Applied Science Degree.  He married Jennifer Lee Landrie on August 21, 2004.  Together they had five children.  He attended Bismarck State College and attained an Associate Degree in Business Management in 2012.  While attending he was a member of Phi Theta Kappa.  Parrish worked for Burlington Northern Railroad as a laborer and lineman and then for Butler Machinery as a Master Mechanic.  He enjoyed helping others, fishing, camping, and spending all the time he was able with his family and friends.

Parrish is survived by his wife, Jennifer Lusby; four sons, Parrish Lusby Jr, Gabriel Lusby, Jacob Lusby, and James Lusby; two daughters, Winter Lusby and Trinity Lusby, all of Mandan, ND; parents, Daniel and Bernice (Stoppleworth) Lusby, Jamestown, ND, brother, Daniel Lusby Jr, Mandan, ND; sisters, Naomi (Paul) Walz-Folmer, Montpelier, ND, Sarah (Shawn) Ratts, Montpelier, ND, Beth Lusby, Mandan, ND; and many nieces and nephews.

He was known by many and loved dearly by all who knew him
