Patricia Wyant

Patricia (Pat) Wyant, 86, died September 26, 2023.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 9, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck.

Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck.

Pat was born August 30, 1937, to Kenny & Esther (Kust) Oliver. She graduated high school from Sacred Heart Academy in 1955, then went on to St. Alexius School of Nursing. She graduated in 1958 and began her nursing career. She worked at St. Vincent’s, St. Alexius & Med Center One until she was forced to retire in 1984 due to a stroke.

Pat married Edward Wyant on October 22, 1962. They had two sons, Michael and David.

Pat loved reading and listening to audiobooks. She also enjoyed bowling, softball and basketball in her earlier years. She was a proud member of AA for over 40 years.

Pat is survived by her sons, Rick Olson, Moorhead, David Wyant, Bismarck; grandchildren, Chelsea (Jesse), Bismarck, and their two sons, Elliot & Christian, Ryne Meier; daughter-in-law, Michelle (Jennifer) Peterson-Lies; very special friends, Nicole, Rachel, Annie, Mel, James, Karmen, Betty, Amelia and Pastor Bob, as well as many friends at Miller Pointe.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; son, Michael; parents, Arthur & Esther Oliver; sisters, Elizabeth “Betty” Graner, Shirley Wolski; brother, Jim Bender; and her dear friend, Richard Anderson.
