Peggy was blessed with five brothers and seven sisters. Peggy attended Cathedral of the Holy Spirit Elementary School, St. Mary’s Central High School where she was a majorette for the Marching Saints Band and Bismarck Junior College. Peggy will be fondly remembered by the many patrons she served while working at Jerry’s Supper Club, the Gourmet House, Peacock Alley, and at St. Alexius Hospital for her easy laugh and engaging personality. Peggy and Jack met in 1975 and were married on August 22, 1980. Peggy was a very devoted and loving wife. The yearly vacation trips, the two of them took together to a Minnesota lake, were a highlight as Peggy loved nature and plants in the peaceful Land of Lakes setting. Peggy’s passion for nature and plants expanded to her own beautiful gardens in her yard. Bird feeders were plentiful in her garden to serve the hungry birds. Squirrels were welcome too. Friends and family could count on Peggy to always be there to help and give support. Peggy loved being involved in family functions and the Christmas get-togethers, with the whole family, were a great joy to her. Peggy is survived by her husband, Jack; six sisters and five brothers, Patricia Smith, Dan (Sharon) O’Hara, Dennis (Sharon) O’Hara, Kathy (Ray) Seidel, Jean (Tom) Welder, David O’Hara, Mary (Craig) Geinert, Brian O’Hara, Julie (Rick) Tronson, Jim (Lisa) O’Hara, Bridgette Braun; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents; and her sister, Carolyn Lyells.
