Raimunda Fossland

Raimunda Fossland, 96, passed away April 11, 2023. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, April 19, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be held in the spring at the Saint Olaf Cemetery.

Raimunda was born on July 26, 1926, to Jose Bento Teixeira and Margarida Teixeira Miranda in Brazil.

In 1963 she moved to Washington D.C. where she worked for the National Teachers Association in the mail room. While working in D.C. she met her future husband, Orville. After a long courtship they married on Dec. 9, 1983. Honeymooning in Rio de Janerio was just one of the many places they traveled. Orville was later transferred to North Dakota, bringing Raimunda with him and making it their new home.

Raimunda loved to garden and entertain for friends.
