Richard L Hagen

Richard L. Hagen, 81, Bismarck, died August 6, 2017. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, August 10, at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, with Rev. Dale Nabben officiating. Cremation has taken place. Richard was born on January 12, 1936, in Maddock, ND, the son of Lloyd and Bernice (Lommen) Hagen. He attended schools in Maddock and New Rockford. Richard entered the U.S. Airforce in 1953, and was honorably discharged from the Reserves in 1961. Richard married Joanne Marie Miller on December 24, 1960, in New Rockford. They lived in Devils Lake, ND, where he worked for the ND State Highway Department. They moved to Bismarck in 1997. Richard enjoyed fishing and woodworking and could fix anything mechanical. He also loved to spoil his grandchildren. Richard is survived by his wife, Joanne; his daughter and son-in-law, Holly (Dwight) Mulske and grandchildren, Shelby Mulske and Cody Mulske.
