Robert “Bob” Evanenko, 68, died July 21, 2017, at Sanford Health, Bismarck. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday July 26, at 7th Day Adventist, 4500 30th Ave NW, Mandan. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Tuesday July 25, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, where a prayer service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Bob was born May 16, 1949 to Phillip and Ruby Evanenko and raised on the family farm along with his sister, Phyllis. He married the love of his life, Charlene, on September 17, 1977 and proceeded to have six children. Eventually they settled in Bismarck, ND where he enjoyed his retirement from West Central Human Service Center, after nearly 20 years of service. He will be remembered best for his great religious devotion, sense of humor, charitable work, and ability to connect to any person. He is survived by his wife, Charlene; his sister, Phyllis, six children and eight grandchildren. Bob is preceded in death by his parents and three grandsons. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate or volunteer to your favorite charity.
