Roberta Green

Roberta Lillian Green (Bobbe), 94 of Bismarck passed away peacefully May 5, 2023.

Bobbe was born June 30, 1928, to Clarence and Josephine Stebbins, in Sioux City, Iowa.  

After completing High School in Sioux City, she met and married Joseph Peterson, together they raised 3 children.  Joe pre-deceased Bobbe in 1980.

Bobbe remarried on September 17, 1998, to Richard Green.  She enjoyed the good fortune to have experienced two happy, productive and prosperous marriages.  Her second marriage was to one of the most kind and thoughtful men imaginable.

Bobbe had a passion for serving the disabled and disadvantaged.  She devoted decades to volunteering in the Bismarck community.  She actively volunteered at the School of Hope, Senior Center, ARP, and Pride, Inc. She actively served on the Board of Directors for School of Hope, Pride, Inc. and The Senior Center.

Bobbe experienced happiness sharing her life with her four children, nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  She loved to read, tend garden and travel.

Bobbe is survived by her children, Diana, Ron and Greg; her loving husband, Dick; as well as nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchildren.  

Bobbe was pre-deceased by her stepson, David Green.
