Ronald D. Kershaw

Ronald D. Kershaw, 71, Menoken, ND, passed away suddenly at his home on April 19, 2024. 

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, April 26, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck. 

Burial will be held at the Menoken Cemetery.

Ron was born in Bismarck on June 1, 1952 to Albert and Maureen Kershaw. He attended Bismarck High School and after graduating furthered his skills at Bismarck Junior College, class of 1972. Ron was very skilled in the welding trade. He retired after 40+ years at Melroe/Bobcat. 

He was once married to Cheryl Blotsky and together they welcomed three children, Roger, Marie and Lindsey. 

Ron enjoyed hunting, bowling, bingo and country music/dancing. After retiring, he enjoyed the outdoors and feeding his wild birds. He also served on the Menoken Cemetery Board. 

Ron is survived by his daughters, Marie (Jim) Mills and Lindsey Kershaw, both of Bismarck; mother, Maureen Kershaw, Menoken; sister, Linda (David) Arveson; brothers, Albert (Colleen), Cecil (Zella), Larry, Jim (Lori) Kershaw; nine grandchildren, Riley, Alexis, Mariah, Isaac, Sophia, Isaiah, Dawson, Makenzie, and Presten; and one great-granddaughter, Millie.

Ron was preceded in death by his father, Albert and his son, Roger. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Rural Fire Department where Ron was a board member.
