Ronald “Ronnie” Glen Sailer, 74, died May 10, 2017, at a Glen Ullin care center.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 PM CT at First Baptist Church, 221 N. West Street, Hebron, ND.
Ronald was born to Ernest and Elsie Sailer on November 15, 1942, in Hebron, ND, where he attended Hebron Public School. Ronnie started his career at an early age working at Hebron Brick Company then moving to Burlington Northern Railroad where he retired.
Ronnie enjoyed riding horse, attending rodeos, and had a real passion for hunting and fishing. He loved reminding family that his birthday or Christmas was coming soon and he had a list of what he wanted ready to go. He was a past member of the Hebron and Richardton Saddle Clubs and Hebron Senior Center. He loved spending time visiting with friends and doing odd jobs in the community after his retirement. Ronnie had many friends wherever he showed up, always asking “What’s up Buddy”. Ronnie was always good for a quick phone call to see how things were going and will be dearly missed by his family.
Ronnie is survived by his brother, Willard (Linda) Sailer; nephew, Travis (Deb) Sailer and their children, Logan, Haley, Hannah, Layton, and Josie; niece, Tara (Steve) Heydt, and their children, Parker, and Ruby; aunt, Alma Pluth; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Elsie Sailer; and sister-in-law, Edith Sailer.
