Ronnie Jenkauski, 78, was called home on Thursday, January 16, 2025, with his family around him.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00am, Monday, January 20, at Cornerstone Community Church, 111 E Wachter Ave, Bismarck. Family will greet guests an hour prior to the service.
Inurnment will be at a later date at Eckles Township Cemetery near Wilton, MN.
Ronnie was born January 13, 1947, in Wilton, MN to Adam and Mavis (Rafferty) Jenkauski. He grew up on the family farm, attended Bowers and Ergan country schools through 6th grade and graduated from Bemidji High School in 1964. He married Bella Ellis on November 21, 1970. A son and daughter were born to this union.
Ronnie served in the US Air Force from 1965-68, graduated from NDSU in 1974 and worked as an electrical engineer for Montana Dakota Utilities for over 30 years in North Dakota, Montana and Wyoming. Ronnie enjoyed genealogy, photography, and spending time with his family and his church family.
Ronnie was preceded in death by parents, Adam and Mavis Jenkauski; brothers, Stanley Jenkauski, Leon Jenkauski; and nephew, Wade Jenkauski.
Ronnie is survived by his wife of 54 years, Bella; son, Eric Jenkauski and children, Darian, Jacqi, Jaydi and David of Sheridan, WY; daughter, Kari Jenkauski and her son, Spencer Solomon of Bartlesville, OK; brother, Kevin (Carrie Benson) Jenkauski; sisters-in-law, Barbara Jenkauski, Rose (Mark) Surdez, and Betty (Paul) Surdez. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Troy Woodcock, Denise Ziemann, Adam Jenkauski, Nichole White, Tanya Engesether, Tammy Sayler, Scot Surdez, and Karen Surdez; and close friend, Ron Zeiszler.
