Roxanne Kay Brown, 55, passed away peacefully December 23, 2019 due to a sudden onset of acute leukemia.
Roxanne was born April 10, 1964 in Bismarck, ND to Robert and Jeanine Brown. She was raised in Bismarck, ND and graduated from Century High School in 1982. Following high school, Roxanne obtained an LPN degree in nursing and started her career working in Grafton, ND. Her nursing skills were utilized in many different areas of care and allowed her to work in different cities. Continuing her education, she graduated from the Medcenter One College of Nursing with an RN degree in 1998. A talented and dedicated nurse, Roxanne then worked in the Emergency Room at St. Alexius Health Bismarck for nearly 18 years. Roxanne also worked as a part time flight nurse and was an active member of the National Ski Patrol for many years.
Roxanne loved spending time with her family and many friends. She enjoyed camping, water skiing, snowboarding, and spending time in the great outdoors. “Roxy” had a vivacious personality and an infectious smile that always brought laughter and smiles to those around her.
Roxanne is survived by her daughters, Amanda (Tyler) Seeberg and Mikala Montgomery; grandson, Easton Seeberg; parents, Robert and Jeanine Brown; and brother, Pat (Donna) Brown.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, January 3, at Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, 519 Raymond St, Bismarck. Family will greet visitors one hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck.
