Ryan Lemer, 64, Washburn, died April 26, 2017, at CHI St. Alexius Health, Bismarck. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Monday, May 8, at Church of Corpus Christi, 1919 N 2nd St., Bismarck, with Rev. Paul Becker officiating. There will be no visitation, cremation has taken place. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bismarck. Ryan was born January 1, 1953, in Harvey, ND, the son of Ben and Rita (Brunner) Lemer. He grew up in Drake and Harvey and graduated from Harvey High School in 1971. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1972-1974. Following his Naval Service, he attended ND State School of Science and earned a degree in instrument technology. Ryan worked for KDIX in Dickinson and KXMC in Minot. On June 17, 1977, he married Judy Wentz in Harvey, ND. In 1979, the couple made their home in Washburn where they raised their daughters, Cherie and Amy. Ryan was employed with Great River Energy in Underwood where he worked until the time of his death. Ryan is survived by his wife, Judy, Washburn; daughters, Cherie Lemer, St. Louis Park, MN, and Amy Lemer and grandson, Brenan Munoz, Lawrence, KS; his parents, Ben and Rita Lemer, Minot; sister, Benita (Howard) Vivian, Elgin, IL; brothers, Robin Lemer, Chicago, IL, and Lowell Lemer, Lincoln, ND; and several nieces and nephews.
