Scott Dean

Scott Dean (Scuba), 57, passed away on June 30, 2018 after a lengthy illness at University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday July 14, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, ND. Scott was born in Auburn, Washington to Lorrianne Dean and Maurice Dean on July 1, 1960. Scott moved to ND in 2006, he started working for Joaquin (Chico) Llerenas at Bee Z Express and later moved to Bismarck. Eventually going back to work for Chico. In 2014 Scott was employed at Dakota Missouri Valley Western Railroad and he loved his job and “the guys”. In 2009 Scott and Shelly met and got married on July 2, 2011. Scott loved to be on his motorcycle (his baby), riding with groups of people or riding with just his wife. Scott enjoyed darts and bowling as well as karaoke. Scott loved to be around people just to visit. Scott is survived by his wife, Shelly (Christensen) Dean; his step daughter, Alyssa Christensen, Bismarck, ND, his daughter, Lorrie Dean, Auburn, WA; his sons, Dalton Dean and Thomas Dean of Auburn, WA; his sisters, Annette (Dale) Kinkade, Wenatcher, WA, Cindy (Terry) Thompson, Tyrone, GA; his brother, Kim (Annie) Dean, Columbia Falls, MT; his sisters-in-law, Sheryl (Dave) Stradinger, Bismarck, ND, Sue Zimmerman, Carson, ND, Sonya (Kevin) Hartman, Grassy Butte, ND; Sandy (Tom) Herr, Dickinson, ND; all of his nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; his grandson, Adam Dean, Washington. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lorrainne and Maurice Dean; his brother, Rod Dean; and former employer, Joaquin (Chico) Llerenas.
