Selma “Sally” Laub, 99, Bismarck, passed away June 21, 2024.
A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 2 at Zion Lutheran Church, 413 E Ave D, Bismarck.

Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck.
Selma Elizabeth Laub was born November 11, 1924 to Heimo and Aino (Pesonen) Siirtola, Wing, ND. She grew up on the farm and attended rural school through the eighth grade and graduated from Bismarck High School in 1944. She married Lester G. Laub in October 1948 and they lived in Bismarck. In 1987 she retired after working 40 years at the State Treasurer’s Office. After retiring, she and Lester did a lot of traveling and spent many winters in Seminole, FL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester; parents; grandparents; four sisters, Linda Dehne, Martha Saari, Hulda Little, and baby Anna; and four brothers, Felix, Everett, Leonard and Francis “Frank.”
She is survived by one brother, Henry, Wing; and one sister-in-law, Clara Siirtola; and many nieces and nephews.
