Sharon Larson

Sharon Larson, 81, Bismarck, passed away on September 3, 2024.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, Sept. 11, at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 1143 N 26th St, Bismarck.

The service will be live streamed on Lord of Life Facebook's page: https://www.facebook.com/lordoflifebismarck 

Burial will be at 2:00PM at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.

Sharon was born September 26, 1942 to Wilbur and Lucille (Britsch) Allan at Brocket, ND. She graduated from Williston High School in 1960.Sharon married Loren Hagen in Williston, where her sons, Lance and Scott were born. In 1968, the family moved to Bismarck, where Sharon started her life long career in sales and financial planning.

Sharon married John Larson, March 13, 1987, in Minot, ND.

Sharon and John enjoyed traveling, covering most of the western United States. They lived in Vancouver, WA, and Colorado Springs, CO, before moving to Williston, ND, to care for Sharon’s parents. In 2006, they moved to Turtle Lake, ND, and to Bismarck in 2016. 

Sharon was an avid gardener and enjoyed sharing the fruits of her labor with relatives and friends. She also enjoyed fishing, playing and watching tennis. Sharon loved her two cats, Max and Gus. 

Sharon is survived by husband John; her sons, Lance and Scott and her stepchildren John and Sarah. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Terry Allan, and John’s daughter's Mary and Judy.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lord of Life Lutheran Church, North Dakota Veteran’s Cemetery or a charity of the donor’s choice.
