Sheryle was born on September 16, 1946, in Bismarck to Frank and Martha (Mattis) Brezden. She grew up in Wilton and graduated from Wilton High School in 1964. After attending Bismarck Junior College, she began her professional career with the Board of Higher Education.
In 1967, Sheryle’s life blossomed when she met the love of her life, Ronald Pearson, at a sunrise dance. They married on May 11, 1968, and together built a beautiful life centered on faith, family, and love. The couple began their life on a farm near Wing, where they raised their three children, Marci, Ronnie, and Jason. Sheryle’s days on the farm were devoted to her family, where she lovingly nurtured her children and supported their activities, creating a warm and caring home. In 2000, they moved to Bismarck, where Sheryle worked as a bus monitor for Bismarck Public Schools for 23 years, a role she cherished.
Sheryle’s faith was her guiding light. She actively contributed to her community and her church, St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Wing, by teaching catechism and volunteering. Her talents were as vibrant as her heart—she was the lead guitarist and vocalist for Sherry and the Shamrocks, a local band that brought joy to many in her younger years.
A devoted grandmother, Sheryle poured her heart into supporting her grandchildren. Whether it was cheering at their games, celebrating their accomplishments, or simply being present, she was a constant source of love and encouragement. Her family was her greatest joy, and she created lasting memories for everyone who was fortunate to know her.
Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her family, creating a warm and welcoming environment for all who knew her. Sheryle’s home was filled with love, laughter, and the comforting aroma of homemade cookies. Her kindness, selflessness, and gentle guidance left a profound impact on her loved ones, shaping the lives of those she cherished most.
Sheryle is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Ron; her children, Marci (Terry) Dvorak of Dickinson, Ronnie (Kim) Pearson, and Jason (Ashley) Pearson, both of Bismarck; her grandchildren, Kass (Carly) Dvorak, Sadi (Dillan) Jepson, Kaden Dvorak, and Karter and Max Pearson; great-grandchildren, Knox Dvorak and Jett Jepson; her brother, Lew Brezden of Fargo; her brother-in-law, Eric (Sue) Pearson of Bismarck; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Martha Brezden; her sister-in-law, Alvina Brezden; her brother-in-law, Bob Pearson; and her parents-in-law, Reuben and Augusta Pearson.
Sheryle’s legacy of love, nurturing care, and unwavering faith will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
