Shirley Ann (Ruscheinsky) Schuette, 80, passed away March 29, 2021 at Touchmark in Bismarck after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. A memorial service will be held 9:30 a.m. Thursday, April 1 at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Parkway Funeral Service. A prayer service will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Following the memorial service, a time of fellowship will be held at the Eagle’s Club, Bismarck. Burial to follow at the Maria Cemetery, Kintyre.

Shirley was born to Evelyn (Miller) and Peter Ruscheinsky, Sr., on October 9, 1940 in Carson. She graduated from St. Mary’s High in 1958. Shirley married Robert Schuette from Braddock on February 18, 1961.

They farmed north of Braddock for over 50 years. Shirley loved being a farm wife and was a great cook/baker and could make the best buns, cheese buttons and strudels around. Shirley loved her family more than anything. She and Bob liked to travel, but there was still no place like home on the farm.

Shirley is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert; daughters, Lori (David) Brown, Bismarck, and Sheila (Matt) Bohn, Wahpeton; daughter-in-law, Tammy Schuette, Fargo; seven grandchildren, Kelsey (Cody) Hanson, Lacey (Ryan) Schulte, Lexy (Waylon) Schmidt, Madison Bohn, Aidan Bohn, Ashley (Tim) Newman and Amanda Henderson; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Alvina Hummel and Leona (Harry) Kahler; brothers, Harold (Connie) Ruscheinsky, John (Elaine) Ruscheinsky, Ron (Leta) Ruscheinsky and Vic (Bonnie) Ruscheinsky.

She was preceded in death by her parents; twin sons, Randy Schuette and Ricky Schuette; and brother, Peter Ruscheinsky, Jr.
