Stacy John

Stacy John, 56 of Bismarck, passed away January 7, 2024.

A memorial service will be 1:30 PM, Friday, January 12, 2024 at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E Divide Ave, Bismarck.

Stacy was born in Indiana on January 19, 1967 to Sheldon and Janice Cieslak. She grew up in Bismarck and graduated from St. Mary's Central High School. She attended Interstate Business College and graduated from Bismarck State College.

Stacy's great loves in her life were her family. She was most proud of her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Amy. A very close second only to them were "her girls" Bailey and Abby. She always had a love for dogs which lasted her entire life. Other hobbies included crafting and baking. She excelled at both- getting many orders for her many flavors of homemade kuchen. She enjoyed yard work, the Chicago Cubs, sunshine, and diet coke. She had a dislike of cold and snow and dreamed about moving south "someday".

She took great care of her mom, Janice, over the years which allowed her to continue living in her home until she died in 2022. Her many visits to the nursing home to check in on her dad were the highlights of his days too.

Stacy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Amy Cieslak, Minneapolis; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Scott and Anell Cieslak, Dan and Julie Cieslak; her sisters and brother-in-law Shelley and Gary Harper and Janelle Pepple, and her father, Sheldon. She was "Auntie" to Garrett, Allison, Jordan, Sean, Zachary, Hayden, Hailey and Braydon.

She was recently preceded in death by her mom, Janice Cieslak and her beloved "Uncle Moose" Dick Cieslak.

We are grateful to have been given the gift of Stacy in our lives and will miss her all the rest of ours.
