Tammy Boone

Tabitha (Tammy) Diane Boone, 60, passed away February 22, 2025 surrounded by her beloved husband and sons. 

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30PM on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, ND.  Family will begin welcoming guest at 1:00PM.

Tammy was born in Goessel Kansas in 1964 to Delbert and Carol Thiesen. The family resided on a farm, where she enjoyed playing outside with her siblings and helping with the chores. In 1972 Tammy and her family moved to Bismarck, ND where she attended school and grew up. 

At the age of 20, Tammy started building her family. Her most precious accomplishment in life was having her three boys Christian, Joshua, and Adam. 

Her favorite job as an adult was being a paramedic. Tammy loved helping people, and beyond her career was always busy making homemade comfort meals for her family, her co-workers, and neighbors. Her cooking was top notch and everyone always enjoyed every bite. 

In fall of 1996 Tammy met the love of her life, David Boone. They were married in Spring of 1997 and the family resided on a farm outside of Baldwin, ND. Tammy and her boys enjoyed living on the farm, and she especially loved naming and bottle feeding the holstein calves and lambs. While David and the boys worked on the farm she was busy keeping a tidy house and cooking and delivering meals to them in the field. 

Christian, Joshua, and Adam grew up and started having children of their own. David and Tammy deeply love all of their 12 grandchildren. Tammy always wanted regular updates on the kids and never missed sending cards for every special occasion. Over the last few years, Tammy poured her heart into her work at St. Vincents where she loved all of the residents and her co-workers. Tammy touched many lives over the years and will be deeply missed by her family and friends. 

Tammy is survived by her loving husband David Boone, her boys Christian (Lindsae) Boone, Joshua (Kourtney) Boone, Adam (Lindsay) Boone. Her grandkids Doryan, Daemon, Lilli, Jackson, Gracie, Tanny, Ryley, Kylie, Karlie, Joselyn, Colton, and Lane. Her mother Carol Fondrich. Her siblings Duane Thiesen, Darrel Thiesen, Howard Hausauer, Teresa (Raymond) Martinez, and Dayna Dufriend. Her mother and father in law Roger and Claudia Boone. Her brother and sister in laws Deb (Rod) Clarys-Berger, Andrea (Dan) Schmitz, and Terry (Tammy) Boone and several nieces and nephews. 

Tammy is preceded in death by her father Delbert Thiesen and brother-in-law John Clarys.
