She was raised in Mandan, attended St. Joseph Grade School, and graduated from Mandan High School in 1951. After graduating from high school, she worked for the Morton County Agents for a short time and then moved to Glendive, MT, to work for the Montana State Employment Service. While in Glendive, she met Iver Iverson and they were married on July 19, 1952. In 1953 they moved to Williston, ND where she worked for Robert Gibb & Sons and then for Farmers Union Grain & Supply. Four years later they moved to Grand Forks, ND, as Iver had accepted a position with Lofts Inc. In 1958 their daughter, JoAnn was born followed by a son, Kent in 1960. They moved to Bismarck, ND in 1961 where Iver managed The Tire Mart for Hedahl’s until January 1963 when Iver purchased the business. Larry did the office work for The Tire Mart for the next 24 years. After Iver’s death on December 7, 1986, Larry ran the business for 5 years before she liquidated it in February 1992 and retired. She also volunteered at the University of Mary in the Alumni Office for 4 years. Larry dearly loved her siblings, her two children, her three grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews. She enjoyed being with and working alongside people. She was a great story teller with a sense of humor that made everyone laugh. She enjoyed reading and always was in the middle of a best seller. She also enjoyed travelling with Iver. They went to Hawaii twice, the Caribbean three times, Mexico twice and Europe five times.
