Vicky Adolf

Vicky Adolf, 69, Bismarck, died March 23, 2019.

Services will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday, March 27, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck.

Family will greet guests one hour prior to the service.

Graveside services will be at 12:00 Noon Wednesday at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan.

Vicky was born September 30, 1949, in Oakes, ND, the daughter of Everette and Vivian (Robins) Mairs. She grew up in the Lisbon/Gwinner area on the family farm and graduated from Lisbon High School in 1967. She attended Wahpeton State School of Science and from there went to work at Melroe in Gwinner.

Vicky married her high school sweetheart, John Adolf, in June of 1968. John was in the service which took them to New Jersey. The couple later returned to Wahpeton where they had their first son, Jeff. The family moved to Mandan and this is where Nicole and Mark were born. Vicky worked at Jobbers Allied for many years and then the Pony Express, where she retired from.

Vicky loved and adored her grandkids. She was a member of the Bismarck Amvets Ladies Auxiliary.

Vicky is survived by her husband of 50 years, John; her children, Jeff (Tami), Nicole (Tim) Moritz, and Mark (Andrea); her grandchildren, Brendan, Andrew and Britney Adolf, Breanna, Jonathan and Alex Moritz, Maxwell and Charlie Adolf; her brother, Dean (Judy) Mairs; sisters-in-law, Helen Mairs, Gail Weiderholt, Mary (Joel) Wiltse; and her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Larry.
