Wayne R. Hogue

Wayne (Buck) Hogue, 65, passed away April 25, 2018 at Sanford Hospital from complications of a stroke. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday May 1, 2018 at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck. The burial will be held immediately following the memorial at Glenco cemetery in Menoken.  A celebration of Bucks life will be held at the Tumbleweed in Lincoln at 4:00 pm.  The family would enjoy your presence to share in the memories of Bucks life. Buck was born February 13, 1953 to the parents of Harold and Florence (Brown) Hogue.  Buck had 2 sister, Lois Hogue and Harriet (Ray) Vefik. Buck grew up on the family farm in Menoken and attended Telfer school and Bismarck High School.  In 1970 he married Marlys Lachenmeier and had 3 daughters.  Buck spent most of his life farming and trucking and socializing with his many friends.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, snowmobiling and riding his horse, Stretch.  In 1993 Buck married Lori Goll and had one son.  In his later years Buck worked at Mariner Construction and continued to drive truck during the off season.  The family would like to thank the staff at Dakota Alpha for all their love, care and support for Buck over the past 4 years.  He enjoyed his time with DJ riding around in the van to appointments.  Buck is survived by his three daughters, Tracy (Faron) Reich, Hazelton, Kim Luptak, Mandan, Kari (Chris) Magstadt, Bismarck, and one son, Gus Hogue, Walkertown NC; his nine grandchildren, Madison & Makenna Reich, Ashlee, Hanna & Hailee Luptak, Taylor, Ryann, Brodie & Avery Charvat.  Buck is preceded in death by his parents, Harold & Florence and his two sisters, Lois & Harriet.
