Wendy Wentz, 41, Bismarck, the daughter of Duane and Eva Wentz and mother of Abbie, Isaac and Jasmin, Bismarck, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2020. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 18, at the Church of St. Anne, 1321 Braman Ave, Bismarck.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 17, at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E Divide Ave, Bismarck. A rosary/vigil service will begin at 7:00 p.m.
Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bismarck.
Wendy was born, February 7, 1978 in Bismarck, ND to Duane and Eva (Roerick) Wentz. She grew up in a large, caring family with three older brothers and one young sister. Wendy went to school in Bismarck and later married her life long love, Joshua Steen. Wendy had a beautiful soul and a big heart that was devoted to her three children, Abbie, Isaac and Jasmin. Wendy was passionate about helping others and rescuing dogs. She will be remembered by family and friends for her free spirit, heart warming personality, contagious laugh and smile that would light up a room.
She is survived by her loving children, Abbie Steen, Isaac Steen and Jasmin Wentz; her parents, Duane and Eva (Roerick) Wentz; siblings, Kerry Wentz, Shane Wentz, and Christy (Wentz) Pointer; ex-husband, Joshua Steen; nephews, Dylan Wentz and Miles Pointer; nieces, Jaden Wentz and Lila Pointer; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Brian Wentz and nephew, Austin Wentz.
