Whitley Alice Iszler

b. April 4, 2025

Whitley Alice Iszler, daughter of Jacey Shively and Tyler Iszler was born still into this world on April 4th, 2025. They will hold her in their hearts until they can hold her in heaven.

Answered prayers sometimes appear as two pink lines. On November 15, 2024, Jacey and Tyler found out that their family would soon have a new addition. For Jacey, this felt like all the pieces of her life were finally coming together and she couldn’t wait to be a mom. At the 20 week anatomy scan everything checked out fine and the baby appeared healthy and moving like crazy. Tyler and Jacey found out that day the baby was a girl. For Tyler, who is already an excellent girl dad, this meant he was about to be even more outnumbered but he was absolutely thrilled to have another strong-willed female keeping him on his toes. Emma was excited to have a little sister to show all the ropes and she and her friends were spending lots of time practicing taking care of their baby dolls. At the 24 week checkup there was no longer a heartbeat and Jacey and Tyler received the most devastating news of their lives. On April 4th Jacey and Tyler got to say their first hello and their hardest goodbye to baby Whitley. They take comfort in knowing their angel is with Jesus and will never have to know pain, heartache or suffering. She is free and in God’s hands.

Whitley is survived by her parents, Jacey Shively and Tyler Iszler; sister, Emma Iszler; grandparents, Wade and Sandy Shively and Daryl and Carla Iszler; aunts and uncles, Brandon Iszler, Carleen and Michael Burstein, Garret Shively; cousin, Stella Burstein and many other family members and friends who all shared the love and excitement for her arrival.

And to think, the first thing she saw when she opened her eyes was the face of Jesus.
