William “Bill” Todd Prudente, 64, Bismarck, ND, passed away peacefully with his son, Les holding his hand, on Sunday, February 3, after a courageous battle against liver cancer at CHI St. Alexius Health, Bismarck. Bill was born in Mandan, ND, to Edna and Mike Prudente. Bill met his soul mate, Cheryl Ringuette, and they were wed on October 15, 1982, in New Salem. It is at this time he became a father. He and Les became not only father and son, but best friends. Bill was a proud cement finisher who worked for the union. When he retired he loved to camp at Fort Rice and fish for walleye. It brought a smile to his face to have his family with him. Bill also really enjoyed watching WWE Wrestling and bringing family together for matches. He also enjoyed throwing darts and was good at it. Bill was a great son, brother, husband, father, uncle, and grandfather. Bill had many visitors while he was at St. Alexius, a special mention to those whom Bill was very close to: Kevin Semerod, D.J. Whitelightening, and Ryan Zearly. Bill’s grandson became his BFF and they made amazing memories. Bill is survived by his wife, Cheryl Prudente and son, Les (Tina) Ringuette; grandchildren, Sierra Seibel and William Ringuette; sister, Margaret (Leo) Piatz; brother, John Prudente; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. A prayer service and luncheon will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, February 11, at the Mandan Eagles, 1400 Collins Ave., Mandan.
