Wilma Robidou

Wilma Lydia (Diehl) Robidou, 87, Bismarck, went to Heaven to be one of God’s angels on January 27, 2019. She had been at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center since November 26, 2018. Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, February 1, at United Church of Christ, 1200 E. Highland Acres Rd, Bismarck. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Thursday, January 31, at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E. Divide Ave., Bismarck. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck. Wilma was born October 31, 1931, the daughter of Calvin and Carolyn Diehl, and raised on a farm west of Carson, ND. She graduated from Carson High School in 1951 and moved to Bismarck where she took a job at Provident Life Insurance Company. Wilma met the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Robidou and they married on October 26, 1957 and recently celebrated 61 years. Through this marriage they had a daughter, Pamela K. Robidou Anderson in 1960. Wilma took a job at ND Game and Fish Department in 1963, and worked there until 1973, when she and Bob bought a farm in Wishek, ND. The couple retired from farming in 1997 and moved to Bismarck. Wilma was a very hard worker helping Bob on the farm, found always at his side. She also worked at Napoleon Livestock on Thursdays. Wilma is survived by her loving husband, Bob, Bismarck; daughters, Pam (Greg) Anderson, Bismarck, and Connie (Dennis) Miller, CO; her grandchildren, Eric (Madie Fisher) Anderson, Nicole Anderson, both of Bismarck, Jessica and Emily Miller, CO; great-grandchildren, Mikah Anderson, Ethan Rouse, Evan Rouse, Rylan Jochim, and Ellie Anderson; her sister, Viola Schock, Mandan; two sisters-in-law, Beverly Diehl, Carson, and Margie Diehl, Bismarck; one brother and sister-in-law, Jerome and Meta Robidou, Kalispell, MT; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Carolyn Diehl; Bob’s parents, James and Mildred Robidou; her brothers, Ervin and Melvin Diehl; one brother-in-law, Roland Schock; and Bob’s sisters, Vidette Freier, Donna Jean Dimond, and Kathleen Robidou.
